Second Website Focused Exclusively on DUI Cases in Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL

Although the first criminal defense website attracts more than 9,000 unique vistors a month, the firm wanted to create a website more focused on the most competitive arena in internet marketing - the DUI case. By gearing the entire website to focus on the needs of their ideal client with a particular type of criminal case in a particular location, the firm has dramatically increase their conversion rate among that target audience.

At the same time, the DUI website provides important general information that is valuable to any potential or existing client faced with a DUI charge in that particular county, including information on protecting the client's driver license at the local DMV office, a page devoted to the judges in that area, information about local DUI schools, local ignition interlock companies, area law enforcement agencies, and how to track their case on the county clerk's office website.

The YouTube Channel allows the firm to upload short videos on a variety of criminal defense topics such as:

• the marijuana laws in Florida;
• defending the drunk driving case;
• false accusations in shoplifting cases;
• how to seal or expunge a Florida criminal record;
• petitions to terminate probation early under Florida law;
• defending charges for violation of probation, and
• fighting a five year habitual traffic offender driver's license revocation under Florida law.

All of these videos were shot in one day at the attorneys' office. Many of these videos show up directly in the search engines for terms like "Tampa Marijuana Attorney" or "Tampa Shoplifting Attorney." The videos have been uploaded on to various on-line business profiles and directories at no additional cost to the attorney.

The YouTube Channel also allows the firm to display other favorite videos from the local sheriff's office showing how a search warrant is served on a marijuana grow house operation, showing how the local law enforcement agencies conduct a DUI roadblock or check point, showing the DUI mobile testing unit, local videos from the county government discussing sealing or expunging a criminal record, and other videos that are interesting to their target audience.

Local Map Marketing  - Recognized as a "Favorite Place on Google"

In May 2010, the Sammis Law Firm received a letter in the mail from Google. The letter informed them that they are being recognized as a "Favorite Place on Google" due to the high level of traffic that their local business listing on Google Places received between December 1 2009 and February 28 2010.

When local map optimization is done correctly, a Law Firm's local business listing on Google Maps or other search engine can receive an extremely high amount of traffic from local consumers. The visits to the website do not cost one penny per click.

Businesses that are recognized as a "Favorite Place on Google" are sent a sticker with a bar code that can be placed on the front door. Local customers can use their smart phone to scan the bar code and instantly deliver contact information, reviews, and other details about the law firm or business.
