Jason has been working in the technology and web development industry for more than 8 years. After working closely with several attorneys, Jason founded Internet LAVA with one goal in mind: to provide a superior product exclusively for legal professionals.

Jason was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For the past 3 years, Jason has worked in the Internet Marketing industry while studying Web Design and Interactive Media at The Art Institute of Houston.

Jason's duties include: Project Management, Art Direction, Layout Design, and Video Production.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys drawing, painting, concerts, playing guitar, and playing with his 4-year-old son, Zane.

Paul's career in web design & internet marketing began in 2006 as a sales representative. He helped clients develop their first websites and later introduced them to search engine marketing. In 2008, his focus shifted from sales to strategy and implementation of SEO campaigns. His interests in SEO lead him to create and co-host one of the most popular SEO podcasts on iTunes today, The Unknown Secrets of SEO.

Having a background in sales, strategy, analytics, and implementation, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to our sales team that is unparalleled. His approach helps clients understand not only the value of search engine rankings but also the best way to achieve them.

Outside of the office, Paul is an avid reader and lifelong learner. He enjoys playing tennis, golf, basketball, and lives an active, fitness lifestyle.

Heather knew at an early age she wanted to pursue a career in the legal field, but also desired an occupation that incorporated her passions for writing and editing. She began accomplishing her goals at Baylor University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Upon graduation, the native Texan moved back to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence.

Heather’s position at Internet LAVA allows her to write legal content for attorneys’ web pages, create press releases on topics Internet LAVA’s clients are passionate about, and draft and edit news articles that are currently relevant to the legal community.

In addition to spending time with her husband and her two dogs, Heather is passionate about working out, cooking and trying out the great cuisine Houston has to offer.

Cary is a web developer and designer who graduated from The Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Web Design and Interactive Media. His intuitive grasp of the underlying concepts and techniques of web development and programming allows him to easily create effective, interactive sites and applications for the web.

Cary's duties at Internet LAVA include: Website Development, Layout Design, Logo Design, Mobile Application Development, Technical Support, and Database Management.

Aside from staying up-to-date on the latest technology and web development trends, Cary enjoys listening to and playing music, trying new varieties of tea and coffee, and playing video games.

Cynthia has a unique perspective on SEO practices. Rather than focus strictly on optimization, she integrates engaging elements that enhance usability. This is in part due to her literary formal education at Emerson College in Boston, MA where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing and Publishing.

As SEO Manager, Cynthia has a deep understanding of the relationship between search engines, websites, and users. She performs off-site optimization for websites, including link building, profile creation, and directory submission.

When she's not reading SEO and Tech blogs, Cynthia enjoys writing and reading speculative science fiction novels. In her spare time she also serves as a mentor for refugee children in Houston. She contributes to several blogs and forums on social justice issues.

Denise is an outgoing public relations coordinator with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin (UT). While at UT, she represented the university across the nation as a NCAA Division-I Rower and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she learned to understand and speak Castilian Spanish.

Denise focuses on using integrated communications strategies including social media marketing, press releases creation/media distribution, reputation management and other PR related skills to help attorneys reach potential clients and create awareness for their law firms.

As a true Texas girl, Denise grew up on a horse ranch and become a skilled horsewoman. She has a deep rooted love for the culture and diversity of her hometown in Houston, TX. In her spare time Denise likes to read, travel and spend time with her family.
